Carol was first elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2006. She currently serves as the Majority Whip.

Most of her legislative work has focused on the opioid crisis and bringing jobs and economic opportunities to West Virginia. She describes herself as, “pro-life, pro-jobs, pro-coal, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-Trump.”

She is the owner of Swann Ridge Bison Farm.
